Enchanted Fairy and Orbs

Mystical and mythical cards are always a favourite of mine to make. This beautiful ‘Enchanted Fairy’ is brand new and it works so perfectly with the new ‘Orbs’ stencil too.

Tutorial

To begin with I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Picked Raspberry’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then added to add interest to the background. Once dried, I stamped the main image of the fairy from the ‘Enchanted Fairy’ set onto the card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

Next up, I placed the ‘Orbs’ stencil over the top of the image and blended Hero Arts Unicorn white pigment ink through it. This was then heat embossed with Wow superfine clear embossing powder and Wow disco ball embossing glitter.

The stars and circles were then stamped around the card using Versafine Clair ‘Charming Pink’ ink. The circles were coloured in with a white colouring pencil before the fairy wings were coloured in with a Posca white acrylic paint pen.

The ‘Enchanted’ sentiment was then stamped using the same black ink and embossed in the same way before being fussy cut out and mounted on some small black card.

Finally, the background was added to black card and a white card blank. The sentiment was placed on using 3D mounts. Some wink of stella glitter pen and small sparkly gems were also added for interest.

A nice and bright fairy card perfect for any birthday or special occasion this year – I already know someone who’ll just love this card!
