Is there a friend in your life that needs a little encouragement? I’m loving the ‘Just Hit Play’ stamp set from Visible Image with its fabulous sentiment. For this make I’ve teamed this stamp set up with the ‘Echoes’ stencil. They are such a perfect combination.

TUTORIAL

I love using distress spray stains for my makes so for this card I chose ‘Worn Lipstick’, ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Kitsch Flamingo’. All spritzed onto a piece of white card which was then splattered with water.

‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink was then blended around the edge of the card to help create the background.

The ‘Echoes’ stencil was then put onto the background and ‘Salty Ocean’ distress ink brushed through it in opposite corners of the card.

I then stamped the small cassette from the ‘Just Hit Play’ set onto the background using Hero Arts ‘Unicorn’ white pigment ink.

The tape image was also stamped onto the background using ‘Salty Ocean’ distress ink.

Next up, I stamped the larger cassette from the ‘Just Hit Play’ set onto a spare piece of white card with Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was then fussy cut out and edged with a black pen.

For the sentiment, I stamped this onto another piece of white card using the same black ink and embossing powder as before and fussy cut it out.

This was then cut into 2 parts and edged with ‘Salty Ocean’ distress ink and mounted onto black card.

Finally, the background was mounted onto black card and a white card blank. All the elements were added using 3D mounts.

This is a great card for anyone into music or just needs a little lift.
