For today’s Design Team inspiration I have used the brand new TIME TO PAR-TEE stamp set and FRAGMENTS stencil. This is an absolutely brilliant stamp set and one I’ll get plenty of use out of!

I began by stamping the main image from TIME TO PAR-TEE set using Versafine Clair morning mist. I also stamped a second image onto copier paper and cut it out to use as a mask. Two pieces of scrap paper were torn, again to use as masks and all masks were placed over the main image leaving a diagonal band open for stenciling. The FRAGMENTS stencil was then positioned and secured using magnets and tape.

Shades of green ink were blended through the stencil. I left the stencil in place and lightly “cleaned” excess ink off using a damp cloth. Versamark was then applied through the stencil, stencil removed and clear wow! embossing powder sprinkled over the stenciled area. Excess powder was tapped off and any that had stuck to the golfer was removed with a soft dry paintbrush. This was then heat embossed using a heat tool. A few extra spatters were added using the same green ink.

On another piece of card, larger than the first, I stamped golf elements from around the edges in shades of blue Versafine Clair, the golf clubs were heat embossed in silver and Time to Par-tee sentiment clear embossed. I also stamped 'Happy Birthday' above the main image in Versafine Clair twilight ink and also clear heat embossed.

The main image was mounted onto a navy pearl card stock which was in turn mounted using foam pads onto an A5 card blank.

These brilliant new sports stamps have those often hard to make masculine cards covered!
