Love Yourself

Hello! Yes we are back with another inspirational project featuring our new stamps!

Veerle Moreels has a fabulous video tutorial for you, showing how she created this stunning tag…

What’s in a fingerprint?  When you look at it…there’s nothing much to see. It are just some lines and you leave them behind because you have dirt on your fingers.

But when you take a bit more time to not just look but also think… there is more behind those lines. You see, they are unique for each and every one of us. They are you and that is a strong message when you put it down onto paper. Everyone can copy your signature, everyone can try to look like you inside and out. But no one can put your fingerprint onto paper. And you yourself… can’t try to change that fingerprint. Well you could always cut new lines into them or burn them off… but I don’t feel like doing that on purpose ^.^  And I don’t feel like changing those lines…

Enjoy the video!

Goodbye Autumn Colours – Visible Image Stamps

Hello again! Thanks for joining us here on the blog today 🙂

Lisa Nygards is here with her latest inspiration…

I think this will be the last card with autumn theme for this season. The bright beautiful colors are gone and leaves are on the ground and most of the nature are turning brown-ish. Sad thing. Now it will be dark and boring until we get some snow that lighten things up.

I’ve used the Colours of the Wind set on my card. I colored the leaf up with rainbow inkpads and misted with some water before I stamped it on a watercolor paper. Then I inked up part by part of the word stamp and stamped on the side. Decorated with some bling and sequins and splattered some black dots all over for dimension.

Saying ‘Thank you’ with Visible Image stamps

Good Evening! Thanks for popping to see us today 🙂

It’s Wonderful Wednesday and Lisa is here with today’s fantastic inspiration…

First month of the summer – but WHERE is it? Not at my place anyway. I’m lucky I have a cozy studio to be in these days.

I’ve made two Clean And Simple cards with Visible Image stamps. Just love them for their easy use. You just can’t go wrong.

The first card (Yellow/Orange) is stamped on water color paper. I’ve used rainbow ink and misted some water on the stamp before I stamped it on the paper. That makes the soft impression. The flowers and word are from the Thank You set. It’s so useful!

The edges of the water color paper is colored by first wet it with a brush with water, then I held the edge into the ink pad to let it absorbe some color. All the way around.

The other card is super super easy, and just perfect for a man/guy! I stamped the text and image on kraft paper and drew a line around it. I’ve used one of the brown distress ink-pads. The words is from the Thank You set and the car is Vintage Car. Only a few blings as decoration.

Magical Colour @ Visible Image

Hi There! Thanks for dropping in 🙂

It’s Wonderful Wednesday here on the Visible Image blog which means lots of gorgeous new inspiration for you.

First up today is Lisa Nygards…

Some days it’s just fun to play around with colors, and it could be just like magic. I’ve sprayed, dripped, stamped and brushed on colors on my cards today and had a blast! The Magick words are from Myrddin Magick Set and the star from Universal set. On the other card the leaf and words are from Colours of the Wind set.

Don’t be afraid of colors, just play with them and see what they will create for you. Leaf is embossed with clear embossing powder before adding colors to the water color paper.

Water Colour Backgrounds & Visible Image stamps

Hi 🙂  We are back with more awesome Visible Image stamps inspiration for you!

Lisa has been creating some amazing backgrounds to use with our stamps again this week. Here’s Lisa…

I’m back with a bunch of artsy cards again. This is what I love with card making – the mix of doing all different kind of cards. These cards are for Visible Image and I’ve used two of their brand new sets.. Colours of the Wind and Rock Out. The third card is made with one of their beautiful word stamp called These are the moments.

On this card I’ve played with different kind of mists on water color paper. I wet the paper and dripped colors from the mist, I didn’t spray them on. More water and let it blend together. When it all was dry I stamped the leaf on top. A bit tricky since the paper have a bit structure.

I just totally loooove this background! Didn’t want to hide much of it so I used the beautiful word stamp to go with it. Background is made on plain paper, but I put a layer gesso on first, and then I went crazy with my distress stains a bit. Sprayed on some water to get the structure. When it was dry I dripped some more colors on fron Adirondack, and did a light mist with water on top. Last thing I did was stamp the circle with dots (you see better on next card what it looks like) with a Champagne dazzle VersaMark and embossed with clear EP. It looks like water drips on the card. Hard to see on photo but I hope the last picture shows it a bit.

This Rock Out card is made with a piece from the same background as the card above. I stamped the rocker in black and made him a bit ”watercolory” (is that a word? LOL). Stamped again to give him a shadow. The outline in white is made by a white pitt pastel pen. I tried to do a white line on the inside too, but the white pen didn’t really cooperate with me. Dotted circle are from the Universal set, and I stamped it in grey and black on a few places. I didn’t fit the words in on a row, so I masked half of with a post it note when color it up. That way I could get it in two rows instead.
