Hello! We have stempelfrida here on the blog today with a beautiful card created with our Butterfly stencil and the ‘It’s Your Birthday’ stamp from our new LOST FOR WORDS set…
Today I present you the birthday greeting on the butterfly, which I made with a stencil and a shaving foam technique.

So let’s first get to the technique with the shaving cream. In a shallow bowl I sprayed shaving foam (the cheapest I could find), flattened the mass a bit and dripped a few drops of Refiller into the foam. I then mixed these with a wood pin. This looks so yummy!!!
I have applied this mass with cardboard to the white background cardboard, which I had covered with the stencil. Excess foam I took off again and dabbed all the rest off gently. After that I let everything dry well.
The edges of the butterfly, the splashes and the body I have emphasized with Polychromos pens.
I stamped the birthday sentiment with a matching shade on the motif. At the edges I drew the stitches and then matted the image on a yellow-orange card.
