Skull Shadow Tags

Hello! Wow we are spoiling you here on the blog today!! We are snowed in here so what better way to spend a Saturday than catching up with all the latest Design Team inspiration that we haven’t shared here yet!!

Veerle Moreels is up next with 2 awesome tags…

I went and had some relaxing fun with the ‘Skull Shadow’ stencil.

So first I started out using my Inktense pencils and some watercolors. Just by tracing the stencil and having some fun coloring I ended up with this very simple tag.
But yet.. I love how it turned out.

And then I wondered how it would look in a more mixed media version… So I layed down some texture in the stencil. And it might not be really very easy to see, but I have cut out the eye and the nose… I wanted some depth in those holes.

And again… just pure relaxation and having fun. The same stencil but a completely different result…

Welcome Lanette Erickson!

Hi there! Today we are excited to announce the next 2 awesome designers joining our team!

First up, we welcome the amazing Lanette Erickson who lives in the USA…

My name is Lanette Erickson I live in southeastern Michigan with my husband, two sassy daughters and one crazy doberman. I’m an ex-banker turned stay at home mommy and one crazy crafter!  I have always been a crafty person, but my love of scrapbooking began a little over 13 years ago. Over the years my passion has evolved from pure paper to more of a mixed media affair.  I truly love all mediums and I am happiest when my hands are messy, I love to experiment with new products and try new techniques.

Here are some of Lanette’s stunning creations that really caught our attention…

You will find more gorgeous projects over on Lanette’s blog.

Mixed Media Tags by Denisa – Visible Image Stamps

Hi there! Today we are sharing two stunning mixed media tags by Denisa Gryczova‎

So excited to share my latest projects made for Visible Image. I was lucky to try out brand new goodies from Visible Image. The first fabulous stamp is such a gorgeous image of the dragonfly. I simply adore these detailed wings. The second one is awesome unicorn silluette covered in beautiful sparkles.

Each of the stamps is accompanied with a sentiment that can be used separately. As I did on the second tag. Versatile – this is what they truly are!

Besides they´re deeply etched for perfectly stamped images. And packed in super plastic bags that will last forever. Irresistable, aren´t they?!

Here are the two mixed media tags I created using these perfect yummy stamps.

Visible Image stamps - Dragonfly - Mixed Media Tag - Denisa

The dragonfly image was hot embossed on the vellum paper, cut out and glued on the mixed media background. No doubt it´s gonna be my No.1 stamp!

Visible Image stamps - A Little Magic - Mixed Media Tag - Denisa

Here the sentiment was simply stamped on the tag using black Archival ink.

These tags are so beautiful Denisa ♡ Thank you! Loving all that texture ♡

We will be back tomorrow with an awesome Monolith from Katy Leitch! And something fabulous from Elina Stromberg… created with our NEW stamps!

Enjoy the rest of your evening!
