Hi there! Thanks for visiting us today! Sometimes life is so hard, and many of us encounter ‘bad days’ for lots of reasons. Our BAD DAY stamp set enables you to show empathy to a friend or to express your own feelings. Lynda is here on the blog today with an emotive art journal page featuring these stamps combined with our DON’T JUDGE stamp set, which work so well together..


Today I am sharing a page made for my Visible Image art journal featuring the ‘Bad Day’ and ‘Don’t Judge’ stamp sets.

I began by stamping the face to the edge of my page and then covering in masking fluid.



I applied distress ink to my craft mat and spritzed with water and dabbed my card in to create a blue and grey mottled effect.



I then used the ‘Scribble’ and ‘Breaking Glass’ stencils and applied Distress oxide ink through them.



I also added words from the ‘Words of Support’ stencil, and some light stamping using the ‘Grunge Tones’ stamp set, and placed the figure from ‘Don’t Judge’ in the centre of the stencilled area.



Once happy with my background it was time to remove the masking fluid. At this point I could have cried myself, as the card I used didn’t like it and tore away as I rubbed it off. Oops!



I fixed the problem by re stamping on fresh card, colouring with watercolours and fussy cutting so I could adhere it over the top.



A little glitter glue made her tear sparkle.





To finish I stamped and embossed the ‘Grunge Tones’ dots around the edge in black to frame the page, and to draw the eye in. I also added a few inspiring words from the ‘Beautiful Soul’ stamp set.

Elena was inspired to create this wonderful canvas by her yoga class. The amazing texture was made with our COUNT ME IN stencil and acrylic paint and paste, and our MINDFUL MOMENTS stamp set created the focal image and sentiment.

Words of Support | Stencil

Hello! Thanks for visiting our blog today. We are sharing a gorgeous card by Heather today, created with our WORDS OF SUPPORT and RIPPED FISHNET stencils, and stamps from our DON’T JUDGE set…


Afternoon!

I was super excited to see a wordy stencil when Words of Support was released last year, and one that was so poignant was just such a breath of fresh air!

This make was super simple but I’ll give you a quick run down…


I started the make using a gel press background I’d already created a while back.  I used a 7″ circle press for this and just brayered on pink and white acrylics.



I love the fact that the new Ripped Fishnet stencil is outline free so I popped him on top of the gelli print and used Distress Oxide Ink Pads to add some colour.



I didn”t tape the stencil down so had to be a bit careful but look at the what you get…



… lovely mottled effect!



I wanted to use the words separately so trimmed a hole in some scrap paper to mask off areas and to blend the colour, I used a mixture of Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserves.


The jigsaw pieces from the Don’t Judge set, were stamped onto another pre-made background that I added some shimmer mist too, trimmed and added to the card using foam tape.



The small sentiments, also from the Don’t Judge set, were then stamped around the edge before trimming and matting onto black card and then to an 8×8″ card blank.


A really lovely card to send to someone in need a little hug… and here’s the lovely goodies I made it with…

Love and Compassion | Mindful Stamps | Stencils

Hello! We are back with more wonderful inspiration for you today. Lynda Hall has combined our NEW ‘Words of Support’ stencil with stamps from our ‘Love is Love’ and ‘Don’t Judge’ sets, which work so well together…


Today’s creation for Visible Image is all about love and uses some incredibly powerful images and words. This card would be perfect for anyone that needed a little support in troubled times.

I started with a piece of mixed media card sprayed with a combination of Dylusions and Distress Oxide spray inks, and I stamped and embossed one of the faces from the new ‘Love is Love’ set at the edge.



On a gelli print scrap in coordinating colours I also embossed the sentiment ‘Love Is’ inside the heart stamp from Don’t Judge.



I added some background stamping for added depth and then applied texture paste through some of the words on the Words of Support stencil. Because the inks are water based, the paste absorbs some of the colour and tints it as it dries- very cool!



To finish I stamped and fussy cut the person from Don’t Judge, outlined the words in black, and added white highlights and some pops of colour to the details on the face profile.
