Young Mind Wild Heart

Hi! We are here with some fantastic inspiration from Corrie Herriman today…

Hello everyone,
and welcome to my blogpost for Visible Image where today I am showcasing one of the sentiment stamps…

Visible Image have great word stamps and this is one of my favourites…
I have paired the words with some Tim Holtz paper dolls, a piece of pattern paper with text on it and some PaperArtsy Fresco Paints.

I started with a piece of pattern paper which has all these advertisements printed on it.

I glued it onto some white card stock as it was quite thin. I then used a brayer and some acrylic paints to knock the text back a little.

Next I chose the people I wanted to use and decided where to stamp and place them.  I then stamped the sentiments.
This is one stamp; I just used masking tape to selectively stamp the words.

Next I placed the people and glued them down and added some ‘ground’ under them so they were not floating.
Lastly I splattered some black paint on the page.

I used this stamp:

Stay Wild

Hi there! More amazing NEW stamps inspiration coming your way! Over to Teresa Morgan…

It’s time for another new stamp project, and this week I have been using the amazing Stay Wild set.

2017-02-26 Visible Image - inky wild horse stamp - stay wild - Teresa Morgan

I stamped and embossed the beautiful horse using Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
I wanted to create a ‘herd’ so stamped three times, overlapping the image each time. I then created
some definition by inking the splatter edge of the stamp with black Archival ink and stamping randomly
over the embossing powder. This created a more layered effect rather than one flat area of white.

My background is a mixture of watercolour paint, Neocolour II crayons, Karisma pencils and fineliner.
I also stamped in some crackles using one of the Create It! set of stamps. I finished by adding some
shading around the horses using a charcoal pencil.

A Girl.. A Moth.. and A Skull @ Visible Image

Good Afternoon (Morning or Evening!) Hope you are well, thank you for stopping by today!

Corrie is here to inspire you with 3 fabulous postcards created with stamps from our Summer Release…

Hello everyone,

For my DT post for Visible Image today I have made a set of three cards with the new release stamps. They are fabulous and they stamp like a dream….

Here they are:

Visible Image - Mr Bone Jangles - Corrie Herriman 3

All three of these cards were created on a gelli printed background. I love my gelli plates; I can play for hours… lol
Anyway I added some stamping to the background and stamped the big skull separately on a piece of card stock that I coloured with Disstress Ink. I used Twisted Citron. I then used some pencils to add a little shading and a white paint pen to whiten his teeth. I also drew a couple of lines around the card.

I used the following stamps:

Visible Image - Tomorrow Doesn't Exist - Corrie Herriman 1

I think this is my favourite set of the new release. This image of the girl jumping is so fabulous I think. Anyway, again I added some background stamping and a single black line around the edge. The girl was stamped directly on the card and clear embossed. This makes the image a little blacker. I them stamped the sentiment, cut it out and adhered it to the card.

I used the following stamps:

Visible Image - Glimmer of Light - Corrie Herriman 1

For the last card the method was pretty much the same again; did a little background stamping. I stamped the moth and the sentiment directly on the card. I then stamped the moth again and coloured him, cut him out, added holographic embossing powder and heat set it. Look at all that sparkle… I then adhered him to the stamped image on the card.

I used the following stamps:

Here is a close up of the glittery wings…

All the cards were adhered to a white card blank and that was that !!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today !!
