Bold and Beautiful ATCs

Hi there! Josefine is here on the blog today with some gorgeous inspiration…

Hello and welcome to a new post for Visible Image. I was in the mood for something bright, something very bright ūüėČ

Because I haven’t used my Distress Oxide in a while, I decided to create a few bright ATCs using them.

I started with a 3 1/2 x 9 inch piece of water color paper and smeared the Oxides directly onto the paper. Then I spritzed water on top, let the inks move and mix and heat set it. Next up, I used the smooshing technique where I put the ink directly onto my craft mat, spritzed some water on top of that and then dragged the paper through the wet ink.

Now I cut up the ATCs to the size 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch and started decorating them. The first one with Golden mica flakes through the Stars & Stripes stencil. This had to dry the longest, so I set it aside and continued with the other ATCs.

The second ATC also needed some stencilded background. For this one, I used Cosmic Skies with White Linen Dylusions spray.

I wanted to do something slightly different for the third ATC, so I stamped a few patterns with the Mesh-ellaneous stamp set.

For the focal points I stamped two of the flowers from the Imperfection is Beauty set and my favorite paper boat from Destination Unknown. I just fuzzy cut them and let them white. I thought that this makes it pop even more, rather than any color I could have colored it in. The only ‚Äúcoloring‚ÄĚ I did was sprinkling some London Blue and Bubblegum Pink onto one of the flowers and the coordinating ATC.

At the end I adhered everything together and finished it off with a little blending around the borders. Now these are some bright ATCs ūüôā

Have you ever created or exchanged some? I like the small size, that you can still do so much with it, but don‚Äôt need to find some empty wall space to hang it up afterwards ūüėČ

Inky Notecards – Visible Image Stamps

Hi there! Thank you for coming to visit our blog today.

HUGE apologies for neglecting our blog for a few weeks! July was such a busy month.. so many orders to make, and then we escaped for a week away in beautiful Ibiza…

Santa Eulalia July 2016

We had a wonderful time and a much needed rest!

We have so many amazing Design Team projects to share with you, so we will be catching up with lots of posts every day for the foreseeable future, as we don’t want to miss out on any of them!

First up, here’s Kim Johnny with some fantastic inky inspiration…

It’s my turn to share some creative Visible Image playtime. The kids are off from school and the time ran away from me a teeny bit. So, I wanted to make something simple and bright.

Hope you like them!

Using some of my most favorite stamps and Inktense Color Blocks, I made some clean and simple notecards.

I used the Flower INKognito and Butterfly INKognito Visible Image stamps.

Visible Image stamps - Inky butterfly - flower stamps - Kim Johnny

I applied the color block directly onto the stamps in various scribbles.

Misted the stamp with water, Inktense color blocks activate with water and
when dry are very stable and permanent.

The images are stamped onto watercolor paper I cut to size before stamping.

Stamp away.. I could easily do tons of these and not get bored!

Each one even using the same colors comes out unique.

Thanks for looking and hope you can make a bit of time to play!

Double Vision @ Visible Image

It’s Fridayyyyy! And it’s fabulous which means Pauline is here which some colourful¬†inspiration to lead us into the weekend…

Hi Crafters,
This is my first Blog of 2016, so Happy New Year, and I hope the forthcoming year brings you happiness and smiles.
This week I wanted to share an 8″ x 8″ card I made for the¬†Visible Image¬†TV show on Create¬†and Craft in December, using some of their awesome stamps.

Visible Image stamps - inky eye stamp - flower - Pauline Butcher

The stamps I used on this project are…¬†Vision INKognito set¬†and¬†Flower INKognito Set.
The background was created using Brusho’s, the sprinkle and spritz method, onto some white 7.5″ x 7.5″ card, whilst it is still wet, place a¬†harlequin¬†design stencil on top and dry through it with kitchen roll, remove the stencil, and leave the card to dry¬†naturally.

Visible Image stamps - inky eye stamp - flower - Pauline Butcher 2

The eye needs to be stamped twice, onto heatproof acetate using Versamark, and heat emboss it using Black embossing powder, then fussy cut them both out. Turn one eye over thus making a pair.

On the reverse side of the eyes, (remembering that one will have the embossing on the front, and one the embossing on the back)
colour the iris with alcohol pens, then paint over the eyes with white gesso, ( you might need to do 2 coats) so when you turn them over to the front, you have a coloured  iris, and whites of the eyes.

Pop these to one side, whilst you complete the background.
Right, on your now dry background card, place the eyes in a position you’re happy with, but don’t glue them yet, you can gauge how much card you have left to decorate, remove the eyes, using the INKognito flower head, stamp the bottom half of the card using ‘Mustard seed’ Distress ink, then stamp over again with ‘Ripe Persimmon’, giving a sort of 3D look.
¬†Using the longest bit of the flower stamp splats, stamp around the top of the card using ‘Salty Ocean’.
Now attach your eyes, using glue, you can see where to stamp your sentiment, and using Versamark, and heat emboss with White Embossing powder.
¬†Now the eyebrows, (which is the Inkognito Flower Stem), stamp using ‘Mustard Seed’, then stamp again using ‘Salty Ocean’.
To finish off, add some white pen as the light source in the eye, use some Black Stickles around the eye, and yellow Stickles in the middle of the flowers for that bit of bling.

Have a look at the January Visible Image¬†‘Show and Tell’, and get your entry in, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, and there’s some really awesome new designs coming out very soon.

The next Visible Image Create & Craft TV appearance, is scheduled for Saturday February 6th, at 11am,
¬†Mr. Visible Image (Mark) and myself will be demoing some fantastic new stamp designs and… something else !!!

If you keep your eye on the Visible Image Facebook group¬†HERE, you may well get some sneak peeks at some point……just saying !!!!

Thanks for visiting, and sorry about the rambling, lol,

Hugs, Pauline xxxxxxx

We hope you will have a go a creating yourself a pair of Visible Image eyes.. and make sure you show us over in our Facebook group!!!

Awesome Inspiration – Visible Image DT

Hello there! Thank you for coming to visit us here on the Visible Image blog today!

We are getting very excited now, as we will be heading off to Peterborough tomorrow for our Create & Craft TV show on Saturday morning at 11am!

Mark and Pauline will be demonstrating our stamps live on air, and they have some awesome projects planned ūüôā

Today on the blog we’re¬†sharing some of the gorgeous samples created by our amazing team using stamps on the show…

Visible Image - Butterfly INKognito - Live Life Now - Susanne Rose

Susanne Rose

I’m sharing¬†some inspiration with the super unique¬†Visible Image¬†Stamps. I made a CAS card using the Butterfly INKognito” together with the “Live Life Now¬†” Stamp.

Visible Image stamps - Live Life Now - Susanne Rose

This is a really quick and very elegant card! I used the Crealies Double Stitched Frame die and cut a rectangle shape from white cardstock. I masked a frame arround the base with washi tape, so that the stamped images don’t go close to the edges. I stamped the Butterflies with Distress Inks. I used “Dusty Concord”, “Picked Raspberry” and “Spiced Marmalade”. Finally I stamped the sentiment “Live Life Now” with StazOn “Jet Black” ink into the center. I mount everything with 3d foam pads to a white card.

Visible Image - Were Dreams - Kim Bacon

A simple card today featuring the gorgeous Where Dreams Take You sentiment.

Colour stencilled through circles and over stamped with the simple circle from the Universal set.

Happy Days! Kim

Visible Image - Flower INKognito - Sue Joseph

My tag has a dylusion and shaving foam background, and the Flower INKognito and Imperfection is Beauty stamps are heat embossed in wow black ebony.

Much Love

Visible Image stamps - Vision INKognito - Eye stamp - Lisa Nygards

Lisa Nygards

I’ve had really fun and made a Canvas for today! Lovely to play around with colors and make a big mess sometimes. I’ve used the Vision INKognito (eye) and the sentiment from the set Behind Every Mask. Think they fit well together.

Visible Image stamps - Grungy Eye stamp - Canvas - Lisa Nygards

I’ve used only acrylic colors I think, and the white dots are heavy modeling paste. The eye is stamped on tissue paper and glued with decopage laque. The green in the eye is painted with pitt pastel pens when the decopage glue was dry. The size of the canvas is 6″ x 6″.

Visible Image stamps - Angels Are Near - Teresa Morgan

Teresa Morgan

I have used the beautiful Angels Are Near stamp set to create a Christmassy mixed media canvas.

To begin, I covered the canvas with some music print paper, torn around the edges. Then I added some gesso around the sides to soften the paper edges, and in random areas over the paper. Once dry I stamped the feather and embossed in white all over the canvas. I wanted a metallic edge to the feathers, so inked the stamp again (but only on the edges) and stamped over the top of the white embossing powder, adding copper embossing powder this time.

Visible Image - Feather stamp - Teresa Morgan

I drew a simple angel on some cardstock and painted with acrylic paint then cut out and glued in place. Next I stamped the sentiment, cut out and glued on to the angel.

Visible Image - Angels Are Near - Teresa Morgan

Finally I used some Pumice Stone Distress Ink around the edges of the canvas to age it and take away some of the whiteness of the gesso.

Wow! Amazing work that showcases our gorgeous stamps brilliantly… thank you¬†‚ô°

Time for me to show you a couple of cards using stamps from Visible Image…

Visible Image stamps - All My Tomorrows verse - Clockwork Heart - Karen Liddle

I used Aquatints to create the background for this one, on watercolour card.

The stamps I used are –
Bronte Script (background)
Cogs from Time After Time set  (background)
Plasma (background)
Clockwork Heart from Oz Tin Man set
Border stamping Рflower stem from Flower INKognito

This background was created by stamping in Versamark, heat embossing with clear embossing powder, then blending inks over.  I did this 2 or 3 times creating layers.

Stamps used are –

Love these cards… the clockwork heart works brilliantly with our INKognito heart for a really different look!¬†Gorgeous background on the second card too… I think we could all use some ‘ME Time’ and it makes me want to sit in a sunny meadow full of gorgeous flowers ūüôā ¬†Thanks Karen!

Inspired By Flowers – Visible Image stamps

Good Afternoon ūüôā We’re back with our 3rd post today!

This time Kim Johnny is here to share her first Visible Image DT creation…

Happy Monday!

I hope you are having a bright and happy day so far!

Today is my first post featuring a project I made for the Visible Image Design Team! I am so excited and so nervous! The stamps are brilliant and I really really hope you like my project!

Visible Image stamps - Inky Flower stamp - Inspire - Kim Johnny

When  you have a moment hop over to check out the awesome shop, Visible Image stamps do not disappoint! They are fabulous. I really enjoyed making this canvas with the stamps I was sent, thank you Helen & Mark!

The canvas is about 6 1/2 inches wide and about 12 inches tall.

As soon as I saw this stamp, Flower INKognito, I knew I wanted to do a repeating pattern. I used Ranger White Super Fine embossing powder to keep as much detail as possible.

I stamped onto Bristol paper, and inked with Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio for the bright colors.

The bottom layer is stamped using¬†Ink Splats¬†and clear embossed. The sentiment is one of my absolute favorites, (come back next week to see more of my new favorites)!!¬†It is part of the¬†Imagine, Dream Inspire¬†set, as real must-have ūüôā

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

There is lots of fun at Visible Image and many ways to keep up with all the new releases and exciting makes from the whole team. I hope you join and play along soon. Here is a list of where you can find all the best Visible Image spots:

Inky Flower stamp – Visible Image

Good Morning ūüôā Yay it’s the weekend!¬†

Sorry for missing yesterday’s post (seems to be becoming a habit!) but it’s for a very good reason… Loads of orders from our awesome customers keeping us extremely busy!!! Thank you <3

So here’s Pauline’s ‘Fabulous Friday’ post which, if you follow Pauline’s blog, you will have seen yesterday!

Hey my crafty friends, how are you?
¬†Another week has flown by, and I’ve been busy creating, as usual.

I was having a bit of  sort out, and found my Alcohol inks, so have been playing with them, I love their bright juicy colours, and of course they are the perfect match with some awesome Visible Image Stamps.

05-02-2015 Visible Image stamps - Inky Flower - Grungy Stem - Brushos - Pauline Butcher

Using a Distress Ink blending tool with a piece of felt, I put 3 colours of Alcohol ink onto the felt, and a drop of Blending Fluid, then pounced over a piece of ¬†8″x 8″ white gloss card.

For the first card I cut a 5″ x 5″ piece from the pattered card I had just made, and stamped ¬†the flower and stem using Versamark, and heat embossed using Black powder, then using the Happy Birthday stamp, did the same. a little bit of mat and layering onto a 6″ card blank and some Stickles, and hey presto……..

The second card was the left over pieces of  the card I had coloured, and again using the same stamps and versamark, but this time using a black sparkle embossing powder, adding Stickles to finish. 2 Very simple cards made.

05-02-2015 Visible Image stamps - Happy Birthday - Inky Flower - Pauline Butcher

The Visible Image stamps used on these two cards were…

Flower INKognito ( one of my favourite ) and the Happy Birthday Set.

This was a tag I made for the lovely Mrs Awesome, (aka) Helen, as she was feeling very under the weather with ‘manflu’ last week caught from Mr Awesome himself, Mark, the owners of Visible Image Stamps.

05-02-2015 Visible Image stamps - Tag - Inky Butterfly stamp - Pauline Butcher

I made this tag in the same way as before, but instead of pouncing the ink, I dragged and weaved my tool onto the card, giving a sort of wavy effect, I stamped the Inkognito butterfly, and heat embossed in black powder again, I then stamped the large butterfly with Versamark and heat embossed, onto a small piece of heat resistant acetate, and fussy cut it, fixing it above the butterfly on the tag, a sentiment and some mat and layers, and of course Stickles to finish.

¬†The Visible Image stamps I used on this were…

Karma Flower – Visible Image stamps

Good Afternoon ūüôā We are back with our second inspirational post today!

Over to the awesome Amber Kroening…

Visible Image

Hello! I’m back again with another Visible Image card to share. ¬†I used my two favorite Visible Image collections on this card;¬†Express Yourself, and¬†INKognito. ¬†I started by stamping the¬†Speckle Background¬†stamp with several different ink colors onto a white card front. I stamped my sentiment and flower in black ink, and used¬†Black Soot Distress Ink¬†to ink the edges, and adhered it to a pink card base.

Visible Image stamps - Flower INKognito - KARMA - Amber Kroening

I used my clear¬†Wink of Stella glitter pen¬†to add sparkle to the card base, and the flower center. ¬†I must say this is my favorite glitter pen EVER. ¬†It’s actually a brush, so you can put it on in a fine line, or a thick line. ¬†It’s hard to photograph but it looks really amazing on projects.
