Good Afternoon! Ericka Strange is next up on the blog today with a gorgeous card featuring the large version of our stunning inky flower, found in our ‘Total Chaos’ set…
Happy Monday. I hope you are safe and well. Today I’m playing with some Visible Image and WOW! Embossing to make a fun card.
I started off by taking a background I had made previously watercoloring stripes. I then used an anti static tool on the background to make sure there were no oils to attract the fine powder. I stamped the flower and leaves from the ‘Total Chaos’ set onto the paper with WOW! Embossing ink in my MISTI. I then sprinkled some WOW! Bonding Powder and heated it up until it was shiny.
There are a couple of ways to use the bonding powder, I chose to use my MINC (like a laminator) since I had it out for a couple of other projects. I ran the background through the MINC with the Dark Blue Fab Foil.
The result is a beautiful, shiny blue image.
I have stamped the sentiment from the ‘2020 Vision’ set and heat embossed it in Metallic Platinum.
To finish my card, I added some blue gemstones.
