Hope & Love | Uplifting Card

Hi there! We have Jane here on the blog to inspire you today with a beautiful uplifting card entitled ‘Hope and Love’ featuring our Love is Love face stamps with our HOPE definition stamp…

Good Afternoon and happy new year. I am back today with my first design team post of 2021 for Visible Image.

We have a challenge running over in our customer Facebook group called “Hope and Colour ” where we would like you to use inspiring words and bright colours. It would be great to see you join us, all the details are at the bottom of this post. There is a whopping £40 coupon prize for 1st place and 2 runner up prizes of £25 coupons. All winners are drawn randomly so everyone has a chance to win, and you can enter as many times as  you like!

For some inspiration for the challenge I decided to work with these 3 awesome, and very relevant for 2021, stamp sets.

Love is Love

and the hope sentiment from the Equality Hope and Love set.

Equality Hope Love | Sentiment Stamps | Definitions

This is what I got up to ;

I made a very simple Brushos background using rose red sprinkled some onto watercolour card which I had wetted first with my distress sprayer. Once dry I stamped the sentiment in place.

I then stamped in black Archival and clear embossed the insects from Summer Wings onto acetate coloured with alcohol inks. I fussy cut them out.

I stamped in black and clear embossed the left handed face from Love is Love onto a piece of inky mop up card and cut it out.

I coloured in a few of the elements with watercolour pens, adding glossy accent to some of the circles. I then put everything together.

Here is my finished card

Bye for now,

This is a perfect card for these current times, and reminds us that spring isn’t too far away now. We love the delicate touches of brusho paints in your background, and the acetate butterflies and face look fabulous! Thank you  ♡

Happy Monday | Inspiration

Hello! We hope you had a good weekend and that Monday is being very gentle with you! Ericka Strange is kicking off this week’s inspiration with not one, not two, but three gorgeous projects to inspire you today…

Happy Monday! Today I’m playing with some of the Visible Image stamps summer release.

bookmksq

For my first project, I used a background I had created with a gel plate. I had been playing with the MINC Toner Ink and the scribble image from the Don’t Judge stamp set. I then used the butterfly from the Summer Wings set and colored it up with some Nuvo Drops.

bookmkside

I also added the sentiments from sentiments from the same set and white heat embossed it.

bookmkdown

For my second card I used the Flower Art set. I love these fun flowers and the unique design.

flowerdmmain

I made a quick background with the Chartreuse Color Burst. While it was drying, I used Nuvo Drops and colored up the flower for a fun look.

I also added the sentiment from the Summer Wings set.

For my last card, I used the Happy Day set. This is such a fun set and there are so many ways to use it.

bekindmain

I had this fun patterned paper that I thought would be the perfect background for my card. I stamped the image in Versfine ink and added the fun eyelashes.

I added white gel pen to the eyes and the fun Be Kind sentiment.

Look Forward With Hope

Hello and Happy Monday to you! We hope you had a lovely weekend   Judy Rozema is kicking off this week’s inspiration here on the blog with a stunning card featuring our ‘Beautiful Soul’ face stamp and an inspiring quote…

Today I am sharing some watercolor painting and a card made with three different stamp sets from Visible Image.

face stamp | hair | woman

I started out by mixing oranges, yellows, and reds from my Kuretake paints. I didn’t have an image, or idea in mind for what I would make; I was just mixing colors. When it was dry, it reminded me of the gorgeous image from Beautiful Soul.

I used my MISTI to line up where the image might look best, and stamped it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne. I added the sun from Look Forward With Hope in the upper right corner, and the net from Mesh-ellaneous along the bottom and upper left corner in yellow and orange inks.

I stamped the sentiment sentiment in Nocturne ink. I think it’s the perfect sentiment for all that is happening in our world right now. For added sparkle, I used Orange Peel Stickles in three waves of her hair. I love how it turned out!

Stamps Used:

Thank you for stopping by today!

This card is so striking Judy! Your background is fabulous, we love the texture and interest you added with the fishnet background stamp. Thank you

You will find more of Judy’s inspiring cards over on her blog.
