Elisa here again with my latest project for the Visible Image
design team, a colourful and vibrant Art Journal spread featuring a background created with a Gel Press monoprinting plate and acrylic paint.
I used the fabulous Fibres stencil
with the Gel Press plate to create a textured multi-coloured look. I placed it over my gelli plate and sponged a baby wipe over it to take some of the colour off and it produced this gorgeous patterns in my background.
I then stamped the Face It
stamp on the right hand side of my page and added some white highlights using a white paint pen.
Add your title by stamping your Outside the Lines
stamp onto scrap paper ( I used a practise piece from my gelli plate adventures) to go with your page.
Cut out your title and mount onto your collaged pieces of paper on the left hand side.
Add some highlights to make your stamps stand out from your background!
