Snowflake Sparkle

Hello! We have lots of awesome inspiration coming your way here on the Visible Image blog today.

First up, we have some super stunning Christmas inspiration from Pauline Butcher…

Hi there,

It’s Fabulous Friday, and it’s Visible Image day, so here’s a very quick Christmas card I made, using the beautiful Snow is Falling stamp set.

The background was created using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and a pink and purple Mica spray, and left to dry.

I then stamped all the stamps from the set with Versamark, and heat embossed with White Puff Twinkle Embossing Powder from Wow…. easy !!!!

Unfortunately the photo doesn’t show you all the shine and sparkle.

Thanks for visiting.

Hugs, Pauline xxxx

Thank you Pauline This is such a stunner and it sparkles so much in real life!

Angels @ Visible Image

Hello there! Thank you for visiting us here on the Visible Image blogy.

We have a stunning project from Nicky Gilburt to share with you today…

Visible Image stamps - Angel stamp - Nicky Gilburt

I love love love this angel! A gorgeous stamp with accompanying word and a little angel too for adding backgrounds and extras.

I stamped and embossed the Angel and the word first. I then painted over her with Inkessentials glue and seal, which protects the image. Those tiny sparkles of white that shine through – if you lose them then you lose the effect, You can see I managed a 2mm border around her. Once dry, the ‘glue and seal’ resists all inks, so that the angel remains clean!

The background to this card was made by lightly rubbing 3 colours of distress ink over a square card and then stenciling through circles cut out of acetate, called the bokeh technique. Using light colours and whites it gives an ethereal affect to the card. A final touch was dots of white pen and a few sequins for sparkle!

These are the tools I used:

Thanks for looking!

Such a beautiful card, thank you Nicky ♡

We’ll be back later today with some fabulous postcards from Corrie!

Christmas in Wonderland @ Visible Image

Good Morning and Happy Friday to you!

We have a crazy busy day ahead here…making loads of gorgeous stamps to take to the NEC next week! We hope to see you there 🙂 It’s going to be so much fun! On top of all the awesome stamps on our stand, and of course the stunning Design Team samples for you to drool over, Pauline will be holding Make & Take sessions too! Creating some rather funky tags… We’ll be sharing her projects with you very soon!

We have some amazing inspiration for you here on the Visible Image blog today… Something Christmassy, something vintage, and something ROCK!

We start off with this stunning card from our Swedish Design Team member Lisa Nygards…

Now when we’re soon turning the page over to November I can start feel the christmas vibes. No feeling outside yet though, but I don’t mind that. We get snow over here so it will be more than enough anyway. We’ll also get the freezing cold temperatures for a way to long period.

Today I’ve used Alice in Wonderland and made her a little bit more christmas-ish then usual. The magic drink she has will probably turn you into Santa or something… who knows! The big word stamp Merry Christmas in the background is stamped with Versa Mark (no color embossing ink) direct on the Kraft Cardstock base. Alice is cut out and mounted on 3D foam to get a bit dimension.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas – Visible Image stamps

Good Evening! Wow what a crazy busy week we have had here! Not only did we have a tonne of orders to make but we also needed to get lots more stock made to take to Ally Pally this weekend!!! We are rather tired now but it’s all done and we are excited for the show 🙂 One of our favourites for sure!

We have a few posts for you this evening and we’re kicking off with the latest inspiration from Teresa Morgan…

Good Evening!

I’m currently enjoying a few days holiday but don’t worry – I still have some Visible Image inspiration to share with you all today. I’m mixing the old with the new to create a stunning Christmas card….

2015-09-17 Visible Image stamps - Christmas card - Believe in the Magic of Christmas - Teresa Morgan

I began by using Peacock Feathers Distress ink to create a moody backdrop for the delicate Winter Tree stamp. The tree is embossed with black embossing powder. I double embossed the sentiment, first with gold powder, then I used holographic over the top. One of the reason I love these polymer stamps is that you can see through them – this makes it easy to ‘re-stamp’ over the top of the gold embossing powder to emboss again.

Stamps Used:

What a fantastic card.. so atmospheric! Thanks Teresa 🙂

We will be back soon with Lisa’s latest inspiration.

Thanks for visiting our blog today.

Snowflakes and Shadows – Visible Image stamps

Good Afternoon 🙂 Thank you for visiting our blog.

Teresa Morgan is here with some gorgeous Christmas inspiration for you…

Thank you for stopping by to see what I have been creating for Visible Image this week! I love this stamp set, the detail on the snowflake is gorgeous….

2015-09-11 Visible Image stamps - Christmas card - White Christmas - Snowflake stamp - Teresa Morgan

I inked up my background card with Festive Berries Distress Ink, adding a touch of Evergreen Bough around the edge to darken it slightly.

Still Using the Evergreen Bough, I randomly stamped the snowflake all over and used my heat tool to speed up the drying time. I then used Versamark ink and white embossing powder, offsetting the snowflake design to create a shadow effect.

Finally I inked up some card with Evergreen Bough and embossed the sentiment.

Stamps Used:

White Christmas set

Beautiful card, love the shadowy effect. Thank you Teresa xx

We will be back a little later with a fabulous new project from Pauline Butcher.

Head over to our Facebook Page if you want the chance to WIN a gorgeous sentiment stamp in our Freebie Friday giveaway! 2 lucky winners will be chosen after 9pm this evening 🙂

See you later!

Gorgeous Poinsettia Stamps @ Visible Image

Hi, we are back with our second post today!

Here’s Sue Joseph with her latest card, and it’s a very gorgeous one…

Morning everybody

I hope you are all well? I’ve had myself 2 weeks off and it’s good to be back 🙂

Today I’m using the stunning and classy Poinsettia Stamp Set

Alongside this I’ve also used Merry Christmas from the Vintage Christmas Trio set and the inky French script and grunge edge from the rearing horse from Revolution, these stamps all go beautifully together don’t you think? I do, love them 🙂

2015-09-01 Visible Image stamps - Poinsettia stamps - Christmas card - Sue Joseph

I’ve used white and vanilla wow embossing powder with copper on Kraft card, lots of fussy cutting and some vintage photo distress ink and layered on white and lastly bronze mirror board.

Finished with some string, bells and fairy dust.

Put together using tiny foam pads, it adds lots of dimension, I love it <3

Visible Image  has an array of unique, trendy and expertly made stamps, with designs for every taste, they stamp perfectly every time, top quality at very reasonable prices, there’s just one downside……. they’re addictive!!!!

When is a Snowman not a Snowman? @ Visible Image

Good Morning and thanks so much for coming to visit us here on the Visible Image blog 🙂
Over to the awesome Sue Joseph…

Hi Guys 🙂
How y’all doing?
It’s ‘Soozie Tooseday’ once again here at the fantabulous Visible ImageI feel a little bit Christmassy so I made a feminine creation…..
Meet Jack’ie’ 🙂 Snowman Jack’s lady friend 😉
How cute is he/she? …..and at only £6.99!!

To begin my creation I sprayed some funky fuchsia dylusion ink onto some watercolour card and when dry I dripped some white linen dylusion ink on randomly to give a snowy effect.

I heat embossed Snowman Jack in bright white wow and coloured in with my promarkers in pink and baby blues to create a girly look (hence Jack’ie’) and fussy cut her out.
Using the Winter tree £6.00, Speckled background £5.00 and birds from the Free your imagination set £12.99 stamp all heat embossed again in wow bright white. I added some  bling (clear flat backed gems) on Jack’ie’ and in the sky and some diamond stickles to the trees and snowy ground, just for some extra sparkle. Jack’ie’ was added with tiny foam stickers to give added dimension. To finish I layered onto white card and blue mirror board
