Shimmering Mask – Visible Image stamps

Hi! Thanks for coming to visit our blog today.

Here’s Susanne Rose with her first post for 2016…

It’s my day today to share some inspiration with the super unique Visible Image Stamps. I used the awesome Behind Every Mask stamp set on top of a gelli print. The background is cut with a stitched rectangle die. I stamped the main image with StazOn jet black ink. I colored the eyes with Polycolor pencils. Finally I add the sentiment with fine detail gold embossing power.

I used a stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop for my gelli print. I love playing with the monoprinting plate. The results are most of the time totally amazing. And you have always some good backgrounds to play with.

Behind The Mask – Visible Image Stamps

Hi There! Thank you for coming to visit our blog 🙂

Lisa Nygards is here with her latest inspiration…

Hi!

I’ve tried a new (for me!) fun technique with faux metallic look. I’ve seen this at Jennifer McGuire and you’ll find a video over there how to make this background. Easily done with distress inks, mica powder and an embossing folder.

The beautiful bird image is named Behind Every Mask, and I love that it almost becomes a face with those eyes. The sentiment comes with the bird in the same set.

The colour behind the mask – Visible Image stamps

Hello there! Thank you for visiting our blog 🙂

Apologies for missing yesterday’s post! We had another crazzzzyyyyyyy day here getting as many orders out as possible which is always the priority, and Mark then surprised me by announcing that instead of cutting and packaging again stamps all evening (as we usually do) we were going out for dinner and to the cinema! It was a much needed ‘break’ 🙂

So today we have lots of fabulous inspiration coming up for you, starting with the ‘late’ Fabulous Friday post from the very fabulous Pauline Butcher! Over to Pauline…

Hello friends,

It’s Friday again, and I’m here to share another of my creations, using some fabulous Visible Image Stampsif you’ve not tried these top quality, thick polymer stamps yet, please do, they are such unique designs, hand made and cut, and they stamp perfectly each time.

Visible Image Stamps used…………
Behind Every MaskInk Splats, the Drip and the finger print out of Drag & Drip, and the feathers and birds out of Free your Imagination.

This card is 8″x 8″, and I started off with a piece of card 7″x 7″, stamping the edges with the drips and ink splats, using Oak House Studio Colour Chemistry Pigment ink pads, in 3 colours, (they are such bright yummy colours, just up my street). I then took another piece of card 5″x 5″, and blended the same 3 colours, then stamped the feathers with Versamark, and heat embossed using White powder, I then stamped the birds and the fingerprints on both pieces af card. I stamped the Hawk onto a seperate piece of card and fussy cut it, leaving a very small boarder of white around it, then coloured the edges, I shaped it and attached it using glue gel to raise it. The sentiment was stamped and cut out. I added some coloured mats and layers, then put it to a black card blank added glossy accents to the eyes and Black Stickles around the edges of the Hawk.
