Ye Olde Santa

Gill’s awesome vintage Christmas card was created with our VINTAGE SANTA stamps and dies, CHRISTMAS BACKGROUNDS stamp and YE OLDE CHRISTMAS stencil.

[Tutorial] I started by stamping the script stamp from the ‘Christmas backgrounds’ set on a mixed media card stock using a Versamark pad and embossed in white. When dry, I ink blended over the top with barn door distress ink and red / gold ink. I then wiped over the embossed script to bring the white back out. I ripped some coffee dyed paper to size and used Versamark pad through the ‘Ye Olde Christmas’ stencil, then embossed in gold to create a lovely old distressed script. I stamped the large Vintage Santa image and embossed in clear powder then die cut out. I also stamped, coloured and die cut some holly from the Christmas Robin set. Next I stamped and embossed the ‘seasons greetings’ sentiment and cut it out, then layered all the elements onto my card. Gill ♡
