With Love at Christmas

Nicola’s beautiful card was made with our CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamp set and co-ordinating dies, and a gorgeous sentiment from our CHRISTMAS WISHES set.

[Tutorial] I masked off a panel on smooth white card with stencil tape to fit a DL size card. I lightly brayered a background using elements inks in light green and blue shades, spattered with a little water and left to dry. I then 2nd generation stamped the Robin word from the CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamp set in blue, sprinkled a little white embossing enamel and heat set from below to avoid blowing the enamel away before it set. 

I stamped the medium and small robins and all the holly items from CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamp set in versafine clair twilight and clear embossed. These were then die cut and coloured using the same blue and green inks.

The stencil tape was then removed and the sentiment from the CHRISTMAS WISHES stamp set was stamped and embossed in silver. I chose silver mirri card for the mat layer and adhered to a DL size card blank. The card was assembled using foam tape to raise up the holly and robins and finishing touches applied using a few drops of glossy accents. Nicola ♡
