Winter T-Shirt

Rachel’s fantastic Christmas card was created with the T-shirt stamp from our NOTHING TO WEAR set and co-ordinating die, and stamps from our LET IT SNOW set.

[Tutorial] It’s never too early to make Christmas cards. If you are looking for something a bit different this year then why not make a Christmas T-Shirt card using the ‘Nothing to Wear stamp set with new accompanying die! It really does take the hassle out of all that fussy cutting.

To begin with I smooshed ‘Salvaged Patina’, ‘Prize Ribbon’ and ‘Uncharted Mariner’ distress ink onto a craft mat and spritzed with water. I then dipped a square piece of white card into the ink ensuring the card was covered. The ink was then dried using a heat gun. I then chose some of the snowflakes from the ‘Let it Snow’ stamp set and stamped these over the background using clear Versamark embossing ink. The snowflakes were then heat embossed using Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder

On another piece of white card I stamped the T-shirt from the ‘Nothing to Wear’ stamp set using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed this with Wow clear gloss superfine embossing powder. The sentiment from the ‘Let it Snow’ set and the heart from the ‘Sentimental Christmas’ set were then stamped onto the T-shirt using the same ink and embossed. This was then coloured in using the ‘Picked Raspberry’ Distress watercolour pencil and a water brush. I then used the new die to cut the T-shirt out.

Finally, all the elements were added to the card using 3D mounts or acrylic glue. The background was then glued to black card and a white card blank. The T-shirt was then covered with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and some glossy accents added to the heart. Perfect for those different Christmas makes this year I hope you agree? Rachel ♡
