Thoughts of You

Gill’s beautiful ‘thinking of you’ card was created with our FOREVER IN YOUR HEART stamp set and co-ordinating die.

[Tutorial] Gill created her background using purple Brusho powder paints spritzed with water. Next Gill splattered some ink using Versafine Clair ‘monarch’. Once dry, Gill stamped the hearts and circles element from the set using the same ink, then stamped some more and heat embossed in silver pearl embossing powder. The edges of the card were then given a beautiful shimmer with silver gilding wax.

The feather was stamped and embossed in silver on a separate piece of card coloured with the same techniques as above, and stamped again on plain white card. These were then cut out with the co-ordinating feather die and adhered to the card with foam pads. The sentiment was stamped in black on white card, cut out and edged with purple before being layered in place. To finish, Gill doodled a border with a silver pen.
