Thanks For Being You
Rachel’s gorgeous ‘thank you’ card was created with our SCRIBBLE stencil, the daisy stamp and vase from our BREAK FREE set, and a sentiment from our LOST FOR WORDS set
[Tutorial] I’m always on the look-out for a suitable greeting to send to a friend to say ‘thank you’. The sentiment in the ‘Lost for Words’ set is perfect for these occasions. For this make I’ve also teamed this stamp set up with ‘Break Free’ and the ‘Scribble’ stencil.
To begin with I brushed ‘Saltwater Taffy’ and ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress oxide through the ‘Scribble’ stencil onto a square piece of white card and put this to one side to dry.
On another piece of card I then stamped the vase and 3 of the large flower stamps from the Visible Image ‘Break Free’ stamp set onto white card in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink. These were then heat embossed with Wow Superfine clear embossing powder before being coloured in with Faber-Castell Goldfaber Aqua pastel watercolour pencils and a water brush. Some of the stems were then added to the vase before the vase was covered in Ranger Glossy Accents.
The sentiment, taken from the ’Lost for Words’ stamp set, was then stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink in the top right hand corner of the background.
Finally, all the elements were then placed into position 3D mounts. Black Ranger enamel accents were then added to give further interest around the flowers. The card was then mounted onto black card and a white card blank. A clean and simple card that is just perfect for those ‘Thank You’ moments I hope you agree? Rachel ♡
