Sunset Butterfly

Gill’s beautiful card was created with our BUTTERFLY EFFECT stamps and co-ordinating dies, and our fabulous FLOWER POWER background stamp.

[Tutorial] For the background I used watercolour paints in sunset colours to create an ombre wash effect, and then cut my panel to size. Once dry, I stamped the large ‘Flower Power’ stamp all over the card using Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold powder. Next I stamped the large butterfly from the ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp set along with 2 of the sentiments on some pink card coloured and die cut the butterfly. I coloured it with the same rich tones then layered the butterfly and sentiments onto my background a matted onto black card and a white card blank. Gill ♡
