Sunflower Grunge

Rachel’s stunning card was created with our SUNFLOWER GRUNGE stamp set, BACKGROUND VISION stamps, and BUBBLES & FIZZ stencil.

[Tutorial] To begin with I dipped a DL piece of white card into ‘Blueprint Sketch’ distress ink sprayed with lots of water. Once dried, I stamped all the elements from the ‘Background Vision’ stamp set onto the background using the same ink. I then blended ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress ink through the ‘Bubbles & Fizz’ stencil onto random places on the card. The smaller sunflower was then stamped using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ blue ink (2nd generation).

Next up, I stamped the main sunflower image into the centre of the card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then stamped another onto a separate piece of white card and coloured this in with Zig color clean brushes before fussy cutting out and gluing to the background. The sentiment was then stamped onto white card and mounted onto black card. This was added to the card with 3D mounts.  

Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank before some sparkle was added using Wink of Stella glitter pen and some gems. Rachel ♡
