Spring Metamorphosis
Kimberly’s wonderful card features the butterflies and sentiment from our WINGS OF CHANGE stamp set, with our BROKEN MESH layering die and TRANSMISSION GLITCH background stamps.
Kimberly ink smooshed Ground Espresso and Antique Linen Distress Oxide inks onto her card, then die cut using the Broken Mesh die. Next Kimberly started to create her background using the same ink smooshing technique, this time with Speckled Egg and Bundled Sage on a watercolour panel. Using Acorn and Goldenrod Archival ink, Kimberly added texture by stamping some of the Transmission Glitch stamps, and stamped the words with Black Soot Archival ink. Next, the mesh die cut was ripped into pieces, and glued onto the inked panel. To finish, the butterflies were watercoloured using Ground Espresso, Salvaged Patina and Fossilized Amber Oxide inks, then they were cut out and glued onto the card adding more fabulous dimension.
