Rachel’s gorgeous card was created with our FOREVER IN YOUR HEART stamp set and co-ordinating dies.

[Tutorial] There’s always a time when you need to make a card that you really wish you didn’t have to make. I love the delicate nature of the feather and perfect sentiments in the ‘Forever in Your Heart’ stamp set.

First of all I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Lost Shadow’ distress spray stain. I then sprayed it again so drips ran down the card. Once dried, I blended the same colour of distress ink around the edges of the card. The hearts and circles stamp was then stamped randomly over the background using ‘Morning Mist’ Versafine Clair ink (2nd generation). The sentiment was then stamped using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

The hearts and circles stamp was then stamped onto a separate piece of white card using the same Versafine ink and the larger hearts fussy cut out. Next, the feather from the stamp set was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine metallic silver embossing powder. This was die cut out and ‘Lost Shadow’ distress ink blended around the edge. A silver posca pen was used to emphasise the feather stem. 

Finally, the background was glued to black card and a white card blank. A little bit of sparkle was added using a wink of stella pen before the feathers, feather die cut and hearts were added with 3D mounts or 3D glue. Such a lovely heartfelt card I hope you agree? Rachel ♡
