So In Love

Rachel’s fabulous card was created with the grunge heart stamp from our FOLLOW YOUR HEART set, with the ‘love’ sentiment from our FOREVER LOVE set and delicate background stamping with our INK SPLATS stamps.

[Tutorial] To begin with I splattered ‘Antique Linen and ‘Hickory Smoke’ distress oxides onto a craft mat and spritzed with water. I then dipped a piece of white card into the inks making sure the majority of the card was covered. Once dried with a heat gun I blended the same colour of distress inks around the edge. The card was then spritzed with a little water to add some droplet effects.

The large heart from the ‘Follow Your Heart’ set was then stamped in the middle of the card with Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Some ‘Ink Splats’ and the sentiment from ‘Forever Love’ were then added in Versafine Clair ‘Morning Mist’ grey ink surrounding the heart.

On a separate piece of white card the same heart from the ‘Follow Your Heart’ stamp set was stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was fussy cut out before being coloured in with ‘Lumberjack Plaid’ distress ink and spritzed with water. The heart was then added to the background with some 3D mounts. Two of the other smaller hearts were then stamped and embossed in the same way before being coloured in using the same ink and fussy cut out.

Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank. Some Ranger glossy accents and small gems were added for some sparkle. The small hearts were also added with 3D mounts. Rachel ♡
