Snowman Tag

Rachel’s fantastic Christmas tag was created with our SNOWMAN JACK stamp set, with stamps from our CHRISTMAS CHAOS and DISTRESSED CHRISTMAS sets.

[Tutorial] ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!’. To begin my make I ‘smooshed’ ‘Hickory Smoke’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress oxides onto a craft mat and sprayed with water. I then dipped a tag sized piece of white card into both inks to create a random speckled effect. This was then dried with a heat gun. (I did 2 tags – one will be used for a future make – watch this space!).

Using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ blue ink I then stamped all the snowflakes from the ‘Snowman Jack’ stamp set onto random places on the background before adding a background element from the ‘Christmas Chaos’ set in ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress oxide. The numbers from the ‘Distressed Christmas’ was then stamped in Versamark in opposite corners before heat embossing with Wow sparkling snow embossing glitter. 

On a separate piece of card I then stamped the main images from the ‘Snowman Jack’ stamp set in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then coloured in using Stabilo aquacolor watercolour pencils and fussy cut out. The words from the same set were then stamped onto white card using the same ink and heat embossed using Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder before being fussy cut out. These were then mounted onto black card. All the elements were then added to the tag background with either acrylic glue or 3D mounts.

Finally, the tag was added to a black background and some sparkle was added using some small gems. 3 pieces of ribbon were then added to complete the tag. A perfect little tag to adorn a special present this year! Rachel ♡
