Snowman Jumper

Rachel’s fabulous card was created with our CHRISTMAS JUMPER stamp set and co-ordinating dies, our KNITTED background stamp and FROSTY stencil.

[Tutorial] For the background I sprayed 2 pieces of white card with ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Blueprint Sketch’ and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress spray stains (and added water). One would be used for the stencil, the other – the ‘Knitted’ stamp set. For the first piece of card I placed the ‘Frosty’ stencil onto it and blended Ranger opaque texture paste through it. This was then covered with distress rock candy to give a glittery finish. Once dried the background was trimmed and mounted onto black card. For the other background I stamped the ‘Knitted’ stamp set using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder. This too was mounted onto black card.

Next up, the ‘Christmas Jumper’ (including snowman and sentiment) was stamped onto another piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was coloured in using Zig color clean brushes before die cutting out. 

Finally, the backgrounds were put onto a white card blank using 3D glue before the jumper was added alongside some sparkle using a Wink of Stella glitter pen and some gems. A lovely and bright Christmas card just perfect for this festive season. Rachel ♡
