Rustic Robins

Nicola’s stunning card was created with our CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamps and dies, and our GRUNGE CHRISTMAS WORDS background stamp.

[Tutorial] I brayered a background using russet orange and olive elements inks. I also did the same on spare card for my robins. The large holly stamp from the CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamp set was stamped in the same green and embossed. The GRUNGE CHRISTMAS WORDS stamp was also stamped 2nd generation in the same green. A few of the ink splats from the same set were stamped and embossed in gold. A little gold edging applied using gilding polish and a few white paint spatters added. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold on black card. Elements from the CHRISTMAS ROBIN set were stamped on the spare brayered card in black and embossed before being die cut using the co-ordinating dies.

I matted and layered with black and gold mirri card, assembled the robin and branch elements and the sentiment, raising them up using silicon glue and foam pads. I added a few glass gems for the finishing touch. Nicola ♡
