Pink Champagne

This beautiful congratulations card by Rachel was created with our ANYONE FOR BUBBLES stamp set, BUBBLES & FIZZ stencil and BROKEN MESH layering die.

[Tutorial] Rosé Champagne anyone? I’m so looking forward to the summer when it’s warm enough to enjoy the sun and some bubbles! If you are looking for a suitable set for a wedding, gender reveal or just to say ‘well done’ then the ‘Anyone for Bubbles?’ and ‘Bubbles and Fizz’ set are a perfect match.

For this make Rachel sprayed 1 piece of white card with ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress spray stain. Once dried, the background was enhanced by brushing ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress oxide through some of the ’Bubbles and Fizz’ stencil onto the corners of the card. On a separate piece of card Rachel stamped the champagne bottle, corks and glasses from the ‘Anyone for Bubbles?’ stamp set with Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and embossed these with Wow superfine clear embossing powder. These were then coloured in using ‘Saltwater Taffy’ distress ink as well as some Stabilo aqua colour pencils and a water pen. Rachel then added some bubbles to the glasses using the smaller bubbles from the stamp set with some Brilliance white archival ink.

To add some additional texture to the background Rachel decided to add a ‘Broken Mesh’ die cut using plain white card. Rachel then stamped and embossed one of the sentiments from the stamp set and embossed this before highlighting the edges in ‘Saltwater Taffy’ distress ink. This was then layered onto black card. To finish the card, all the elements were stuck into position using 3D foam pads or acrylic glue onto the background. The final image was then added to black and a white card blank before some glossy accents were added to emphasise the bubbles from the champagne bottle and in the glasses. Here’s to celebrating those special occasions this summer!
