Nuts About Squirrels

This wonderful card by Leanne was created with just one stamp set, NUTS ABOUT SQUIRRELS which includes the fabulous cheeky squirrel, acorns and leaves, a fantastic log, small silhouette squirrels and a choice of 3 fun sentiments!  

[Tutorial] Leanne created her background with distress inks, and blended ink through our AUTUMN LEAVES stencil to add a few floating leaves. Leanne purposely left a lighter space in the centre for the squirrel and log, which were stamped directly onto the backgound with Versafine Clair morning mist ink. These were coloured with watercolour pens, before overstamping the squirrel image again for more definition. Next Leanne stamped out lots of the leaves and acorns for her fabulous wreath, and coloured them with distress re-inkers before fussy cutting and assembling it using 3D glue. The sentiment was stamped and embossed then the edges distressed before is was adhered to the card. Leanne added a few touches with a black pen to enhance the features, before adding black and kraft card matts to frame the art work and give it a lovely natural feel.
