Midnight Sky

This amazing canvas by Iva features our MIDNIGHT SKY stamps with our LAVA stencil.

Iva started to create her background with Distress Oxide sprays in: mustard seed, broken china, cracked pistachio and black soot. Next she applied mixed media paste through the stencil, then sprinkled some embossing powders onto the paste. Once it was all dry, Iva stamped out the moon, stars, spaceman + sentiment using black Versafine ink, cut them out and coloured with tumbled glass and mustard seed Distress Oxide inks. The star trails were stamped in black ink onto the canvas, and some splashes with a white Posca pen added the finishing touches.
