Making Honey

Kimberly’s fantastic card was created with our BEE HAPPY stamp set.

[Tutorial] Kimberly began by ink smooshing distress oxide inks in Scattered Straw and Wild Honey on watercolour card stock. Next the hexagon cluster from the Bee Happy set was stamped on the panel. Kimberly then added more Wild Honey distress ink in the hexagons using a watercolour brush to add depth. Using Black Soot archival ink, Kimberly stamped the inky pollen splatter stamp on the panel. Next some translucent crackle paste was used through our Bubbles and Fizz stencil for texture. While that dried, Kimberly stamped the bee on heat safe acetate using embossing ink and black Ranger embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped on black card stock using white Ranger embossing powder, cut out and attached to the card panel. After adhering the acetate bee to the panel, Kimberly finished the card by layering the panel on a black piece of card stock to frame it, and a white card base.
