Magical Christmas

Leanne made a beautiful distress inks background using shabby shutters and peeled paint, with a touch of kitsch flamingo. This card was all about layering the trees to create depth, so the front trees were stamped with Versafine Clair shady lane ink, and the rear trees were stamped with the same distress inks as the background [shabby shutters, peeled paint and kitsch flamingo]. Leanne used a yellow posca pen on the stars, then added some white puffy stuff, white enamel accents and white zig ink for the snowy effects. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold on heat resistant acetate, and Leanne machine stitched the acetate onto the card adding more texture and interest.
