Hello Summer

Rachel’s stunning card was created with our FLOWER INK stencil and stamps from our DAISY GRUNGE set.

[Tutorial] To begin with I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Pink Flamingo’, ‘Fiery Sunset’ and ‘Lemon Zest’ Dylusions ink sprays. Ensuring the full card was covered I then added a spritz of water. Once dried I stamped the daisy from the ‘Daisy Grunge’ set around the edges of the background using Versafine Clair ‘Tulip Red’ ink and coloured them in with a white coloured pencil.

I then added the ‘Flower INK’ stencil over the top of the background and dabbed Paperartsy fresco ‘Snowflake’ white acrylic through it to cover the full stencil image. Distress opaque grit paste was then smoothed through the stencil and mask. Once dried, this was topped with ‘Mustard Seed’ distress oxide using a blending brush. The mask was then removed before some Distress transparent texture paste was roughly added to the flower. This removed some of the distress oxide to reveal the white paint underneath. Some Distress rock candy was then sprinkled over the flower to add some sparkle.

The sentiment from the ‘Daisy Grunge’ set was then stamped onto some black card using Versamark before being heat embossed with Wow superfine metallic gold rich embossing powder and fussy cut out.

Finally, the background was added to black card and a white card blank and the sentiment added using acrylic glue. Plus, a few sparkly gems were added for interest. A lovely and bright summer floral inspired card! Rachel ♡
