Heart of Grunge

Angelique stamped our grungy heart with Versafine Clair ink onto 300g watercolour paper, then used red + orange Brushos with water to create colour bursts. When dry, Angelique brushed red and yellow Harmony inks through our INK SWIRLS stencil creating a wonderful effect in the background. Polychromos pencils were used to colour some of the details in the heart, and a white gel pen was used for highlighting. To add some texture and shimmer Angelique added Glossy accents to some of the circles. The edges were distressed with black ink before matting and layering with black card onto a white 15x15cm white card base.
