Halloween Leaves

Nicola’s fantastic Halloween card was made with our HAPPY HALLOWEEN stamp set + co-ordinating dies, our KNITTED background stamp and LEAFY stencil.

[Tutorial] Leaving a small, border matt black texture paste was applied through the stunning LEAFY stencil onto Kraft card before being left to dry. Three small pumpkins were stamped in black onto white card, clear embossed and die cut using the matching dies. One of these was also over stamped using the KNITTED stamp. These were coloured using distress crayons and blended with water. I edged the pumpkins using gold pen. The sentiment was stamped and gold embossed on black card.

Once dry, I randomly applied some collage glue to some parts of the black stencilling, when this had almost dried but was still tacky I added gilding flakes, rubbed off and polished to give an “ autumn leaf “ effect. The card was simply mat and layered keeping the black and Kraft card theme before being assembled using foam pads. Nicola ♡
