Grunge Daisy

Kimberly’s gorgeous card was created with our DAISY GRUNGE stamp set, the inky script from our SCRIPTED STREETS set, and our HONEYCOMB HEX stencil.

[Tutorial] Kimberly started by ink blending Speckled Egg, Old Paper, and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide inks on watercolour paper, and spritzer with water. The daisy image was then stamped using Hickory Smoke Archival ink on the panel, and again on a post-it note to create a mask. Covering the image with the mask, Kimberly ink blended Speckled Egg and Old Paper Oxide inks through the Honeycomb Hex stencil. Next, Kimberly water coloured the Daisy using Scattered Straw and Frayed Burlap Oxide inks. The daisy was covered daisy again with the mask, and Kimberly splattered Walnut Stain Distress Ink over the panel. Using the script stamp from the Scripted Streets stamp set and Ground Espresso Archival ink, Kimberly randomly stamped on the background. The little daisy image was also stamped randomly on the background with Speckled Egg Archival ink. To finish the card, Kimberly covered the panel with distress glaze to seal the inks, then added the sentiment and some black enamel accents for texture.
