Gold Leaf Gin

This fabulous card by Rox is perfect for a celebration especially if it accompanies a bottle of gin! Rox has used our KEEP YOUR GIN UP stamp set and BUTTERFLY INK stencil. The glamorous gold leaf looks gorgeous against the chalky purple oxide tones.

[Tutorial] Rox made her background with Ranger Distress Oxide ‘villainous potion’ and a distress water sprayer, then blended a deeper shade through the stencil. The gin bottle was stamped in Versafine onyx black ink then clear embossed, cut out, and adhered to the background with foam tape to add dimension. Next Rox coloured the bottle with ‘salvaged patina’ distress oxide ink, and added some Kindy glitz for extra shimmer. To add more sparkle to the card Rox used gold leaf, then machine stitched around the edge and layered it on gold metallic card. The sentiment was added, and a few gems were the perfect finishing touch.
