Every Thing Matters

This stunning handmade card by Leanne was made with the large butterfly stamp and grunge background elements from our BUTTERFLY EFFECT stamp set.

Leanne created her background using ink sprays then lifted some of the colour using sterilising fluid. Next Leanne inked through our BUTTERFLY INK stencil, and added random stamping with the extra elements in the set. For the next step, Leanne glued circles of vintage book pages to her background before stamping the grunge circles stamp on top, which adds brilliant texture and interest. Leanne also added some tiny book page butterflies in the same way. The wonderful large butterfly was stamped and embossed onto a piece of card [also coloured with inks], cut out and layered onto the card, leaving its wings raised up for dimension. You can see the ink trails of the stencilled butterfly beneath. To finish, Leanne embossed the sentiment in white onto contrasting black card.
