Dream A Little Dream

Rachel’s beautiful card was created with our CATCHING DREAMS stamp set and ATOMIC FLOWER stencil.

[Tutorial] The ‘Catching Dreams’ set is perfect for those mystical inspired cards this summer. For this card I’ve teamed up this stamp set with the ‘Atomic Flower’ stencil. 

To begin I took a white piece of card and sprayed it with ‘Bubblegum Pink’ dylusions spray ink and ‘Seeded Preserves’ distress ink. Once dried, I stamped the main dream catcher image onto the centre of the card with Versamark before heat embossing with Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder. The same image was then repeated using Versafine Clair ‘Monarch’ purple ink onto the background of the card. The ‘splatter’ stamp from the same set was stamped in the same way. All the purple inked images were then heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

Next, I placed the ‘Atomic Flower’ stencil over the top of the embossed images and brushed through ‘Picket Fence’ distress ink. The embossed images were then rubbed clean with a piece of kitchen towel.

Finally, the sentiment from the ‘Catching Dreams’ set was stamped using Versafine Clair ‘Monarch’ purple ink onto a piece of card blended with ‘Peacock Feathers’ distress ink. Some small sparkly gems were added to the card before being layered onto black card and a white card blank. Rachel ♡
