Christmas Layers

Michelle’s amazing card was created with our CHRISTMAS ROBIN stamps and dies, SCRIPTED STREETS background stamp, a sentiment from our CHRISTMAS WISHES set, and our SEEING STARS and YE OLDE CHRISTMAS stencils.

[Tutorial] I used the script stamp from the ‘Scripted Streets’ set with Versafine Clair in black, and then the ‘Seeing Stars’ stencil with Festive Berries distress oxide and heat embossed using Wow Red Glitz embossing powder. I die cut a circle of cardstock and scored it with my scoring board to give a wood panel effect, I dragged distress oxide over the top (vintage photo, bundled sage and salvaged patina) then spritzed with a little water. When dry, I used ‘Ye Olde Christmas’ stencil to apply some gold glitter paste through. The Robin is stamped in Spectrum Noir (pebble) and clear embossed, coloured with Distress crayons in vintage photo and antique linen, the red is a blend of alcohol markers. I went over a little of the stamped image with a black fine liner to add detail back in and dimension.

For the holly I blended inks (Christmas Green and Holly) on cardstock, then stamped the holly and berry stamps, coloured the berries with alcohol markers and die cut. The twig is real with added 3d schnee fake snow. I added Glossy Accents to berries, holly, Robin’s eye and claws. Stamped the sentiment from ‘Christmas Wishes’ in Versamark ink on black card and then heat embossed with Wow super fine embossing powder (white). I added some striped Baker’s twine to finish when building up the layers. Michelle ♡
