Christmas Jumper

Nicola’s amazing card was created with our CHRISTMAS JUMPER stamp set and co-ordinating dies, our KNITTED background stamp, and a sentiment and elements from our CHRISTMAS WISHES set.

[Tutorial] The background was created by very gently swiping distress oxides straight across the card in neutral, green and a little bit of red. GRUNGE CHRISTMAS WORDS stamp was then used in the same shade of green all over the background. A little water was spattered to distress the background further. Once dry the small tree from CHRISTMAS WISHES was randomly stamped around the edges in green and embossed using a green embossing glaze. Splats of white posca pen were also added. Using a glue pen a little festive coloured glitter was also added around the very edges to create a border.
The sentiment from CHRISTMAS WISHES was stamped on black card and embossed in white.

The CHRISTMAS JUMPER was stamped onto white card in black and clear embossed. This was over stamped using the amazing KNITTED stamp in shades of red, green and neutral water based inks and gently blended using a damp water brush (you need a little colour but don’t want to lose that stunning knot effect). This was then die cut using the matching die.

The small tree from CHRISTMAS TREE GRUNGE was also stamped, and over stamped in black using the KNITTED stamp before being clear embossed and lightly coloured using pale green watercolour. The small star from CHRISTMAS WISHES was stamped in black, embossed and coloured using gold posca. The tree and star were then cut out.

The card was mat and layered using black and Kraft card onto a white card blank. The sentiment and jumper attached using foam pads before the jumper and star were added using silicone glue. Finishing touches were pearl baubles on the tree and gold stickles glitter on the star. Nicola ♡
