Chasing Dreams

Rachel’s gorgeous card was created with our NO FILTER face stamp, with stamps from our BACKGROUND VISION and ROUND IN CIRCLES sets, our DAISY DAISY stencil, the daisy stamp from our BREAK FREE set, and a sentiment from our BETTER DAYS AHEAD stamp set.

[Tutorial] Each year I set goals I hope to achieve and my first design team make for Visible Image this year is inspired by the ‘Chase your Dreams’ motto from the ‘Better Days Ahead’ stamp set.  

To begin with I dipped a piece of white card into ‘Shaded Lilac’, ‘Tumbled Glass’, and ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress oxides before spritzing with water. Once the background had dried I stamped the face from the ‘No Filter’ set in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed it using Wow superfine clear embossing powder. The words from the ‘Background Vision’ set were then added alongside the face and embossed in the same way. Parts of the image were coloured in using Stabilo aquacolor pencils and a white gel pen.

Next I took the ‘Daisy Daisy’ stencil and brushed through this 3 times using the same oxides as the background colours. I then stamped some of the circles from the ‘Round in Circles’ stamps set onto the background using ‘Salvaged Patina’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress inks. 

On a separate piece of card I stamped a daisy from the ‘Break Free’ stamp set in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and coloured this with ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress ink. This was then fussy cut out and added to the background with 3D mounts.

Finally, the background was added to black card and a white card blank and some glittery highlights added with a Wink of Stella pen. A little card I hope will help you get motivated at this time of year! Rachel ♡
