Butterflies and Kindness

This gorgeous card by Rox was created with our BUTTERFLY INK stencil, small butterfly stamps from our BUTTERFLY EFFECT stamp set, and the ‘Be Kind’ sentiment from our NOTHING TO WEAR set.

[Tutorial] Rox created a Distress Oxide ink and Brushos background using the Butterfly INK stencil. The scattered straw oxide ink was blended through the stencil, then Rox sprinkled turquoise Brusho powder paints and activated by spritzing water, allowing the colour to drip down the card. The small butterflies were stamped onto the background with Versafine Clair ink and clear embossed, then coloured with Brushos. Rox repeated this process stamping more butterflies on a separate piece of card, and adhered them on top of the previously stamped images (allowing them to show through beneath) using layering foam for dimension. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, and the art work mounted on metallic gold and black card stock. Rox added a machine stitched border as her finishing touch.
