Birthday Cheers

Gill’s fantastic card was created with our BRING ON THE BEERS stamp set and SEEING STARS stencil, with a sentiment from our LOST FOR WORDS set.

[Tutorial] Gill stamped the pint glass with ‘walnut stain’ distress ink, and clear embossed it for a lovely sheen. Next Gill coloured in the beer using the same ink, adding a little water to achieve light and dark shading, then stamped the bubbles stamp inside the glass for a realistic look. Gill blended ‘scattered straw’ and ‘vintage photo’ distress inks through the stencil to create her fabulous background – the stencil works perfectly with our drink themed stamps for celebration cards! The sentiment was stamped onto a separate piece of card, then Gill stencilled over it and matted to co-ordinate with the main card base. A hand doodled border and some gorgeous sequins were added as the final touches.
