Baroque Skulls

Gill made her fantastic Halloween card with our MR BONE JANGLES stamp set and BAROQUE FRAME stencil.

[Tutorial] I started by creating the background with ‘spiced marmalade’ distress oxide ink on watercolour card. I then placed the ‘Dark Hearts’ stencil in the centre and blended ‘crackling campfire’ distress oxide ink over the centre area. I spritzed with water and left to dry. Next I stamped and embossed the skulls from the ‘Mr Bone Jangles’ set and fussy cut out. I stamped the ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment from the ‘Happy Halloween’ set. When my background was dry I blended ‘villainous potion’ distress oxide through the ‘Baroque Frame’ stencil. I used some black thread placed behind the large skull in the centre and stuck down with foam tape. I added a skull to each corner and the sentiment in the bottom centre. I hand drew a border and added the tiny die cut butterflies from the ‘Antisocial Butterfly’ set onto the skull to finish. Gill ♡
