Autumn Nights

Jeanette’s fabulous card was created with the chandelier stamp and sentiment from our HANG IN THERE set.

[Tutorial] The autumn is slowly making our days shorter and the darkness invade our homes – and sometimes our minds, too. What better than to cheer someone up with a card? The new stamp set ‘Hang in There’ is perfect to lift someone’s spirits. I used watercolour paper and Distress reinkers for the background, after having stamped the chandelier and the sentiment with waterproof black ink. I made a vignette effect using Black soot Distress Oxide ink and an ink blending tool and then I splashed some water on the background – I wanted a bokeh effect around the chandelier. To add a few scribbles and details, I used a couple of my Posca pens, and then I splashed some blue leftover paint as a finishing touch. Finally I used black card stock to frame and then attached everything to a kraft coloured card base. Jeanette ♡
