Summer Cocktails

Rachel’s gorgeous card was created with our COCKTAILS & DREAMS stamp set and co-ordinating dies, and ROUND IN CIRCLES background stamps and HALFTONE stencil. [Tutorial] I just love this new ‘Cocktails and Dreams’ stamp and die set from Visible Image! For my make I’ve also teamed it up with the ‘Halftone’ stencil and ‘Round in Circles’ stamp set. To begin I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Peacock Feathers’ distress spray stain. Once dried, I blended ‘Peacock Feathers’ distress ink around the edges of the card. The ‘Halftone’ stencil was then placed over the top of the background and the same distress ink blended through it. I then inked up one of the elements from the ‘Round in Circles’ stamp set and randomly stamped this onto the background using Versamark before heat embossing with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. On a separate piece of white card I then stamped all the elements from the ‘Cocktails and Dreams’ stamp set using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed them with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then die cut out and coloured in with Faber-Castell polychromos pencils. After choosing the images I wanted to use on the card I covered the die cuts with Ranger glossy accents. The ‘Cocktails’ wording was then stamped in Versamark onto a piece of card I had previously coloured with ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress ink and heat embossed it with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank before all the elements were added using 3D mounts or acrylic glue. Another great addition to the Visible Image drinks cabinet that is just perfect for those summer birthday cards! I hope you agree? Rachel ♡
