Let The Fun Be-gin
Rachel made her fantastic card with our KEEP YOUR GIN UP stamps and dies and ROUND IN CIRCLES background stamps.
[Tutorial] To begin with I took a white piece of card and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress spray stain. This was then edged with ‘Twisted Citron’ distress ink and spritzed with water. I then stamped all the stamps from the ‘Round of Circles’ stamp set onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Verdant’, ‘Cheerful’ and ‘Warm Breeze’. The ‘Collision’ stencil was then popped over the top of the background and ‘Picket Fence’ distress ink brushed through it.
On a separate piece of card I stamped elements from the ‘Keep Your Gin Up’ using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed them using Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were die cut out and coloured in using watercolour pencils and topped with Glossy Accents. A sentiment from the same stamp set was then stamped out using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ ink before being heat embossed in the same way. The bubbles stamp was then stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Verdant’ green ink onto it. This was then mounted onto a small piece of black card.
All the elements were then added to the card background with 3D mounts or acrylic glue. Finally, the background was layered onto black card and a white card blank. Some sparkle was added using some water droplets. Let the festivities Be-gin! Rachel ♡
