Cheshire Cat

This awesome card by Jeanette features our CHESHIRE CAT stamps + dies with our gorgeous BROKEN MESH layering die. [Tutorial] Jeanette started by creating her backround with distress inks on watercolour card, smooshing the ink and moving it around with a brush until she was happy. Next Jeanette die cut the Broken Mesh, to add some texture, snipping parts of it so there wasn’t too much background covered up. The Cheshire Cat was stamped with Memento ink on Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copic markers, and highlights added with a white gel pen before being die cut. Jeanette stamped the claw marks onto the background, then the sentiments and fish from the set were stamped in co-ordinating blue ink on white card stock, die cut, and mounted with 3D foam squares along with the cat. To finish, Jeanette added Glossy Accents to the cat’s eyes, before layering onto a black matt and kraft card for a natural look.
