Rachel’s fabulous card was created with our THAT LOVIN’ FELINE stamps and co-ordinating dies, THE CAT’S WHISKERS and HALFTONE stencils, and a sentiment from our BIRTHDAY WISHES set. [Tutorial] Do you celebrate your pet’s birthday? Or know any animal lovers whose birthday is coming up? These fantastic felines from Visible Image would be just purr-fect for those special celebrations! For the background I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress spray stain before edging the card and filling in any white gaps with the same colour distress ink. I then placed the ‘Halftone’ stencil over the top and blended ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress ink through it. ‘The Cat’s Whiskers’ stencil was then placed onto the background and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress oxide brushed over it. Some elements from the ‘That Lovin’ Feline’ were then stamped in either Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink or ‘Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ ink before colouring in with a white coloured pencil or gel pen. As it’s a birthday card, the sentiment from the ‘Birthday Wishes’ set was stamped out using the same black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Up next, 3 of the cats from ‘That Lovin’ Feline’ were stamped out onto white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then coloured with Zig color clean brushes before being die cut out. Finally, the background was put onto black/blue card, and a white card blank before the cats were added using 3D mounts alongside some sparkle with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and some gems. Rachel ♡
